Blush De Ombre ...

Hey Everyone ...

Hope you all had an amazing New Years whether you celebrated it with your loved ones or a night out on the town, I most certainly did :)
Now I'm back with a very cheeky naughty blog post ... So there I was browsing MAC online and came across their new collection Daphne Guinness. I was literally blown away with this collection, particularly their swanky new blush ombre ... Something I have never seen in any other makeup brand I have come across in the years. Its vibrant colours ranging from the darkest plum tones to the lightest pink had me clicking the add to bag before I even knew it, (something I cannot control). I know its naughty and I should be saving my money up to carry on with my driving lessons and other more "suitable" things to buy ... but seriously ... I couldn't resist plus I can still blame Christmas ;) It was a tough £20.50 to part with but once I had received it in the post this morning I knew straight up that the £20.50 was well spent. *yipee*

There are two colours within this blush category; Vintage Grape and Azalea Blossom. On the MAC website they describe Vintage Grape as a Mid-tone violet pink and Azalea Blossom as a light cool pink. I chose to purchase Vintage Grape as its a colour unusual for me to purchase plus I haven't got a colour like this within my makeup collection, Plus I thought it would be a great colour to dust over the apple of my cheeks and even if it is too dark for me, a sheer swirl of them combined won't do any harm :) I must add that the size of this gorgeous blush is not the regular size of normal blushes from MAC , oh no , Its the size of a Mineralized Skin Finish ! Even better!

So tell me what you think of Blush Ombre .. Will you be buying it too? :)

Last post of 2011 ...

Hey !

Sorry I've been a bit m.i.a ( sorry for the cheesy line! ), but as everyone knows Christmas has flown by so fast, its actually amazed me! Last Christmas It seemed to go quite slow which was so nice, but this year It has gone so quick :(  I hope everyone has had an amazing Christmas, whether you had a white Christmas or not! Sadly for me we haven't even had the slightest shower of snow at all this December, But I reckon the snow will be back in January/February time! I thought I'd include some photos of some of the lovely gifts I had received over the Christmas holiday, which I am so very grateful for! Let me know what you received in the comments section, would love to know :)

So as the title of this post reads "last post of 2011 ..." I actually feel quite nervous of the whole new year experience? I have no clue why, but every New Year I always find it quite scary and daunting! Just counting down the last 10 seconds of 2011 will be so very strange, knowing you will never ever ever ever see or experience 2011 again! Its all quite skin crawling I think . . . But saying that I have a feeling that 2012 will be a much better year for my family, as 2011 hasn't been the best of years we've had :( but with the support of all one another within my family we have pulled through and got to the end of this year :) So fingers crossed.

I hope you all have a lovely New Years Eve in what ever your planning, I know I'm going to have a nice evening. I'm not the type to go out partying on New Years and get completely paralytic you can't even remember going into the New Year. I like to spend it with my close family/boyfriend and enjoy fun and games :) Quite the tradition in my house hold :) Enjoy the New Year and I hope 2012 brings happiness to you all and good luck, "please be safe tonight"! ...

Galaxy Nails

So I blogged the other day mentioning that I have some nail tutorials instore for you all! The whole reason why I chose to do Galaxy Nails was because I watched a very lovely youtuber effiesmakeupbox. Go check her out and subscribe, she has the most amazing vintage taste!
As I was browsing through her videos I noticed the Galaxy Nail tutorial! I love decorating my nails all different fancy designs so this really got me excited! The whole process is easy peasy lemon squeezy and FRIGGIN awesome! Your bound to get lots of compliments!

The colours are just out of this world ... Like my pun ;) No seriously they are just gorgeous, especially with glitter topcoat to create the stars! Anyone can create this, Its to simple to do and you cannot go wrong, trust me :)

In real life you can see the finest detail you have created with the sponge to get that effect. The picture doesn't give it much oooomfff but I highly recommend trying it out!
I wont go into detail on how to create this snazzy nail tutorial, it'll take me forever and a day! But I'll insert a link to Effie's Channel so you can properly watch it there :) * Effie's Channel *

I've got another nail tutorial that I'm going to blog about maybe tomorrow! Or whether I should video it? Let me know in the comments, would love to hear from you! :)

Time flies by when you're having fun ...

Wow hasn't this week just flown by! I'm actually in shock how we are nearly into the middle of this month!
Countdown to christmas : 41 Days !!
And once again I cannot believe how long this YEAR has gone by ... I still remember yesterday sunbathing in my garden! I'm loving the cold crisp days at the moment, walking through the golden leaves whilst walking to college or down to the shops! Really is cushty! Before you know it, snow will be here! I literally cannot wait for the snow?! The snow last year was flipping awesome, I felt like a child again! Best time of the year : Winter.

Me and the boyfriend travelled up to visit my Dad and family around Maidstone area the other day. Was so nice to get away for the day, We travelled up on the train early in the morning and again was so nice to feel that slight chill on the back of your neck whilst walking to the station! Ovbiously I got myself all wrapped up warm! I took a few photos on my journey that I'll insert into this blogpost, The other photos are just general snapshots I took.

So thats about It from me, I've got a couple of nail tutorials that I'm going to blog about hopefully tomorrow, so watch out for that! :) Hope you have a good start to the week tomorrow !

Ciao  ;)

Because baby your a firework ....

Hey everyone!
Its been awhile since I sat down and wrote a blog for you all! I've been really busy working and college! But today I thought I'd just talk about what I've done during my rather long gap since my last blogpost !!
So as it was Halloween the other day, I must say Halloween is now starting to become my favourite time of the year, not to mention Christmas! I love getting all the decorations out and really making my house look extra spooky! I took some photos of all the bits and bobs I had decorated the house with, I have to admit I did edit the photos to make them look that extra spooky, I really wish I was that good at decorating my house!
Its Bonfire Night tomorrow, and I took some cheeky snaps of the house opposite me who was having a rather fantastic Firework display! I love fireworks but I just stick to the sparklers! They are so cute! As I'm writing this I think my neighbourhood are having a competition on who can make the loudest firework display noise ever! Is anyone going to any firework displays coming up soon? I'm not too sure whether me and the boyfriend will take a trip to the one near us?

A drama has occurred; the water in our area at the moment is OFF... which means no hot bubble bath or anything, not even a cup of tea :( ! Apparently there is a burst water pipe or something, just blooming wish it would come back on! I roughly got home from college at 3.45pm and it was all down and guess what... yep it still is off !

Anyway just thought I'd do a really small but yet muddled blogpost, Sorry if it seems so rushed and all confusing, just thought I should at least put one up as its common courtesy! :)

Enjoy bonfire night and please be careful and think of the all the animals you will be scaring tomorrow! :( ;)

Oh la la

I was getting sick and tired of the "summer" nail varnish colours and I'm constantly wearing any pink colour you could think of or a natural nude, so I thought it was time for a change as Autumn is just around the corner.

I found this nail varnish by Sally Hansen, "Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Colour" in the colour Platinum, originally was my mums. It is the most beautiful colour I have come across in awhile and have never even worn a nail colour like it, plus it steers me away from the common summer colours! I love how iridescent it is and how it displays so many colours in any angle of light, ranging from pink, yellow, green etc. It has an amazing consistency, one coat is just outstanding as the coverage is just perfect for me! The only downside to this nail varnish is that it doesn't live up to its "No Chip" :( Which is just awful as I really love this polish and would highly recommend to anyone!

^ Excuse the grossness on how quickly I painted them! sheeesh.

^ "Platinum"

What do you think of this nail varnish? Let me know your thoughts, would love to be nosey! tehee

Money well spent but now i need a dolla?

So I briefly popped into my local Boots the other day to check out the Garnier Soft Essentials moisturiser for dry & sensitive skin, alongside that i came out of Boots with other things that wasnt on my list! Such an annoying habit of mine! But saying that the things i did pick up i did initially need sooner or later, so i suppose i could let myself off lightly!
So i decided to take a quick snap instead of me typing about them all etc! As i purchased items from L'Oreal that was over £15 i got a freebie ! This included two samples which were L'Oreal Youth Code anti-wrinkle cream and also L'Oreal infallible indefectible foundation (totally wrong colour?), also a nail varnish, eye kohl and also an eyeshadow! Which im pretty chuffed as i've been looking at that specific colour for ages!
Hope your all well and hopefully all GCSE results went perfect for you! :)
